Starling is a very self-absorbed and vain she-cat. She sees herself and well... that's about it. Pretty things are automatically hers (whether it actually be a thing or say.. a cat), and any body of water is her personal "mirror" to inspect herself and make sure she's at her very best at all times. She will accept nothing less than that. 

She's got a sharp tongue and quick wit, and won't hesitate to bite back at insults or comments she doesn't agree with. She is the kind of cat who says a lot that means little, very theatric in her actions and words. She basks in the admiration and attention of others, whether it be positive or negative. She simply enjoys being the center of attention and gossip. Though she often acts as if she could do without the attention, as to not let anyone think they have something they can use against her. She keeps her walls (holding her fears, her hopes, her dreams) tight and closed off, hidden behind the blinding lights of her act. 

Starling is an enjoyer of clever conversation and intelligence to rival her own. She grew up surrounded by cats who spoke of deep topics or enjoyed verbal sparring, and picked it up quite quickly as a young cat. She has continued to enjoy this past time, genuinely enjoying cats who can keep up with her turns of phrase and witty remarks. These are the cats she softens around, being more loose and happy, allowing herself a moment to genuinely enjoy the company of another cat. She will quickly grow bored and tried of cats who can't keep up with her, and doesn't feel any shame or sympathy at all simply abandoning the conversation if she's not entertained or intrigued. 

She is what some would call a "temptress," a bit of a wild card with no shame or thought for relations between others. She sees something she wants, and she goes after it, and this is especially true for when she seeks cats to flirt with. She enjoys leading on those who don't quite pick up on what she's doing, enjoys seeing if a relationship between two cats is something she can break, enjoys sabotaging relationships purely for the fun of it. She is a pretty cat, and knows how to utilize herself to entice those who may only be after looks and prestige. She has her limits though, and only allows those she is genuinely intrigued by to get close enough to her for the possibility of  something more, such as kits.

Starling is not one that purposefully seeks pure chaos though, she simply lives her life to the fullest, and enjoys what she can, where and when she can. She is emotionally expressive and unapologetically intense, and unlike you might think, her emotions and reactions are not carefully crafted diversions. She is her pure and wild self in every conversation, interaction, and argument, but she does only allow out the parts of her that she feels the day to day cat "deserves." It takes a lot of work to find the cat who enjoys the more intricate things in life, and she knows it. She'll lead those looking for it on a wild goose chase, simply to prove their worthiness, as it amuses, and greatly intrigues her.
