Boulder is an outgoing, bubbly tom. He enjoys conversation and interaction, and gains energy from being around others. He has a nearly endless social battery, and it only depletes when he's not around cats. Don't leave this guy all alone, he gets depressed. 

He was basically born to be a dad, even from a younger age, enjoying jokes that are overexaggerated and groan-worthy (dad-jokes, basically). His friends often teased him for this, but Boulderbounce didn't mind being the butt of a joke either. He's pretty hardy, and even if someone is trying to be mean with their jokes, he doesn't give into it and keeps the conversation casual and lighthearted. A nuisance-deterrer, this one. 

He has a big heart full for just about anyone who comes his way, and becomes protective of those he sees need a little extra love in their lives. He has a bad habit of adopting anyone who is an orphan, abandoned, or just straight up seems lonely. 

Not the smartest cat, Boulder has more of a "I'd rather just do it than think about it" disposition, and is very in-the-moment oriented. He's not the best when it comes to giving advice or understanding complex issues, but he is a steady, grounding force that will do all he can to make someone feel better in the way he knows how.

He's a bit of a handyman as well, and is always looking for any opportunity to fix up a den or improve the stability of something or the other.

Boulder is a relatively large cat, and he is not afraid to use his imposing size to intimidate those who threaten his family, and those he's taken under his wing. Usually having a very friendly and grounded energy about him, it can be surprising to be on the end of his quiet anger. Boulder knows the importance of keeping a level head and steady energy in any type of argument or disagreement, and that can be felt clearly, even if he is angry. He stays calm, but his quiet anger can sometimes be scarier than claws and teeth.

Overall Boulder enjoys taking care of all those he can, and has a special spot in his heart for his family and friends. He's a steady, grounding force that anyone who gets to know him can rely on, with a hearty sense of humor and just basically your neighborhood dad.
