What would constitute a cat "nerd?" Because that is generally what Gladepaw is. He is a cat with an energetic mind, and very clever to boot. He enjoys learning anything about everything, and loves to show off what he knows to others. When he was younger he would often believe anything anyone told him when he was asking his endless questions, but now that he's a bit older, he's grown a healthy amount of skepticism to help combat his earlier gullible tendencies. He still asks questions and listens, even to cats who over-exaggerate, he will humor them and their stories but he will likely fact check certain things on his own later on just to be sure.

Not super shy, as he doesn't mind striking up a conversation with about just anyone, but he does it out of the necessity of discovery, not because he particularly wants to engage in social conversation or engagement. He's completely fine being on his own, and doesn't seem to mind when he's on the outsides of social interactions and groups. He's fine with just listening, but due to most of his social interactions being purely for his own gain, he is not the best when it comes to social cues. He will often accidentally interrupt conversations where he likely wasn't wanted, but he personally won't see a problem with it, unless someone tells him.

He's quick to adjust and apologize though if someone does point things out to him, but if one is more reserved and prone to walking on eggshells around problems, he will never know or think to reflect on what he might've done wrong. He will simply move forward towards different interactions. Due to this it is quite hard for him to form meaningly connections, as he tends to see every conversation as a transaction. A give and take of knowledge. You tell him something valuable, he will tell you something valuable in return.

He understand emotions and connections are something that exist, but he has a hard time navigating anything related to them. He often is more logical and down to earth, and doesn't often get upset or show large a large expression of emotions. But as anything else, he's always willing to learn more about it, and if someone were to help him learn more about himself and his emotions, he would likely begin to understand them more.

He has a few specific things he is exceptionally passionate about, that will usually usurp his normally cool demeanor. He especially loves learning about different types of hunting techniques, and makes it his personal goal to try and discover as many different ways to hunt and understand the prey as possible.

He also loves rocks. Yep. He's a rock collector.
